Nintendo’s Mario Kart was at number one for four consecutive weeks and still holds the first position in the UK individual format sales charts for full last week of Christmas. Since the release of the game on April 11th in Europe, the game has almost maintained its top position and the sale has rose 40 percent over the last seven days.

Brain Training (or Brain Age) remained on number two on Nintendo DS even though its sale went down by one percent. Wii Play took the third place with the re-entry of Professor Layton and the Curious Village. All these games gave Nintendo the top four.
