Once again, a Hollywood live-action adaptation is making its way to screens near you.  This time it's Speed Racer, it looks fantastic, and it's coming this summer.  Oh, and it's the first flick from the Wachowski Brothers since The Matrix trilogy.

All that excitement quiets down just a tiny bit upon reading the description from Jeff Nachbaur, producer of the gaming title based on the movie.  Nachbaur says that the game is aimed at 8-12 year olds, complete with racing tracks that resemble roller coasters.  All of this is fine, but it leads one to ask - if Speed Racer is a Wii racing title for kids, who's the target audience for Mario Kart and all of its animated, cute little characters?
