There's a new amazing feature released by Nintendo for the Nintendo Wii. The feature lets people give Virtual Console games as a gift to anyone who owns a Nintendo Wii. If you don't know, the Virtual Console is a way to download old console games for the NES, Sega Genesis, and much more consoles.
This is a great idea because it allows you give an affordable gift that gives the person a whole bunch of fun. There is nothing like playing Super Mario Bros 3 on your Nintendo Wii while thanking your friend for all the fun you're having. Be sure to buy Wii and check out this feature before the holidays are up!
Nintendo has finally released Everybody's Nintendo Wii channel for Japanese customers. This is big news because this special Wii channel allows users to find upcoming release information on games, watch promotional videos, and play Nintendo DS demos which is a very cool feature.
As you can tell, this is a way for Nintendo to advertise other Nintendo products to existing Nintendo Wii owners. Many people who purchase the Nintendo Wii are good customers to purchase the Nintendo DS as well. The release information includes videos for the DS and Wii, boxart, pricing and much more.
The feature by far is the ability to play upcoming Nintendo DS game demos for free. This will be a blast. It will come out with a few Touch generation titles and then come out with Pokemon Diamond and pearl.
For the rest of us in the US and UK, we should be seeing this soon because the last channel called Check Mii Out came out for everyone at the same time.
Yes, that's right. Nintendo has developed a special controller that looks identical to the original SNES controller, but now it works with the Nintendo Wii. We have to say this is very cool and are anxious to get one ourselves, but there's one problem.
This controller will only be given to Club Nintendo members which happens to only be in Japan. It's like some frequent purchaser program for the Japanese. They receive cool stuff that no one else gets.
Well... it IS possible to get one now. A 3rd party company is taking orders for them and are only charging $30. NCSX will somehow get their hands on them and sell it to anyone that wants it. I'm sure this thing will be pretty popular has it holds loads of nostalgic power.
It looks like we have some serious action against video games going on in capitol hill. It all started with a game called Manhunt 2 which has been highly criticized over the last couple of months. It seems like every newscaster and government official was putting down the game for being too violent.
It turns out the senators are mad at the ESRB for giving Manhunt 2 a second chance and approval to a Mature rating after some changes while the BBFC (British version of ESRB) would still not give the game a rating. Senators are saying this is an outrage because the game is too extremely violent.
They are also saying that the motion sensitive controls of the Nintendo Wii makes the game even more of a threat to children. The problem with their arguement is that children shouldn't even be playing the game in the first place. We're really not sure what's going to happen, but they sure are wasting a ton of time on it.
Remember that classic arcade game where you'd shoot down zombies in a fashion that never seemed to end? Yeah, it's back on the Nintendo Wii. The House of the Dead 2 and 3 are coming to the Nintendo Wii, which will a perfect game for the newly released Wii Zapper.
This time you won't be spending countless quarters trying to kill them. However, the games have nothing special in them apart from the original. They are just ported over from Sega's older versions. That's ok because why ruin an original that was so good?
The best thing is that it is only going to be $30 which is fantastic for your wallet. This is the price point as the other Sega game Ghost Squad which is another Wii Zapper game. We're loving $30 shooter games, but how about you?
Mario's latest adventure sold 500k in the first week for people in the US. This is a very impressive number, but well deserved for such a great game. This game has been one of the most positively rated games of all time. Keep in mind it has been 11 years since the last epic Super Mario game which was Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64.
Surprisingly, the game has already had some super great deals from places like Circuit City and Toys R Us. Circuit was offering this game for $35 on Black Friday and Toys R Us offered a free $25 gift card for buying the game. This is surprising because the game just came out.
This is a game everyone should be picking out so get yours today!
