MMO for Wii? 05/27/2008
The Creative director of EA Mythic, Paul Barnett, believes that Nintendo is the most likely gaming company to succeed in building the first console MMO. Barnett shared this insight in an interview with CVG. The BBC seems to have redeemed itself by covering a story in Newsnight that shows that kids today have become brighter as a result of exposure to video games. The footage in the program negates the idea that all video games are bad for children. This is a far cry from its earlier coverage of Brain Training’s biased point of view regarding accents. The footage shows that games have helped in producing brighter kids nowadays, rather than accusing videogames for its negative influence on the kids.
