MMO for Wii? 05/27/2008

The Creative director of EA Mythic, Paul Barnett, believes that Nintendo is the most likely gaming company to succeed in building the first console MMO. Barnett shared this insight in an interview with CVG.

He may be or may not be correct, but that is not the point here. The point is, would people want to have an MMO on Wii? If they would, how would they want it? Will it have to be something related to Nintendo or just another game?

The BBC seems to have redeemed itself by covering a story in Newsnight that shows that kids today have become brighter as a result of exposure to video games. The footage in the program negates the idea that all video games are bad for children. This is a far cry from its earlier coverage of Brain Training’s biased point of view regarding accents. The footage shows that games have helped in producing brighter kids nowadays, rather than accusing videogames for its negative influence on the kids.

According to Steve Johnson, contemporary media exposure of children has made them more active and not passive onlookers. It has also taught children that solving complex problems can b fun and need not b scary. He backed this up by showing a rise in IQ scores of children in last on hundred years.

In a nutshell, the game is quite simple and easy to play.

Folks! I would to share that after I read some favourable impressions from the Joystiq crew about Crash Bandicoot, I got help from the Mind over Mutant to place the game onto our selected radars. The video also features senior producer Kristen Forbes.

Forbes informed us that there are many issues which frustrate the Wii gamers. This is due to lack of graphical capabilities in Wii. Only thing to sort out is the crash iteration. Once it is solved, then we can think of looking forward for many more good games.

He said “…our existing customers will surely get tired of [gameplay] enabled by the Wii Remote if we do not try to improve the experience."

Here is crisp grapevine for you all. EA games’ site is believed to have listed another game called Boogie Superstar. The rumor is, is it a sequel of EA's Boogie game? It is very difficult to get the exact and précised answer for this.

We really do know how the first part had done. We did get response but then it was very meager. We can just hope that at least this time the series to be interesting and exciting than the earlier ones.
