Nintendo Wii Tracker

Once again, a Hollywood live-action adaptation is making its way to screens near you.  This time it's Speed Racer, it looks fantastic, and it's coming this summer.  Oh, and it's the first flick from the Wachowski Brothers since The Matrix trilogy.

All that excitement quiets down just a tiny bit upon reading the description from Jeff Nachbaur, producer of the gaming title based on the movie.  Nachbaur says that the game is aimed at 8-12 year olds, complete with racing tracks that resemble roller coasters.  All of this is fine, but it leads one to ask - if Speed Racer is a Wii racing title for kids, who's the target audience for Mario Kart and all of its animated, cute little characters?

Out of shape, tired, and could stand to lose a few pounds?  Like to play the Wii all day, drinking Mountain Dew, and wish that somehow it could all count as exercise?  Your day is coming soon.

While they probably won't use the same words to get you excited, Nintendo is currently working on the "biggest marketing campaign in its history" to drum up interest in Wii Fit.  The good news for slobs who don't want the Wii without the fit?  The word is that there will be a coinciding boost of 150,000 more Wii shipments per week.  The game hits everywhere in North America on May 19th.

Tetris is making its inevitable arrival in Next-Gen Console Land (fun place!) via Wii Ware. Hudson's bringing the game to the U.S., with a few Wii-specific tweaks. Those of you who had the misfortune of growing up without the classic title can now play it with all of the new tricks.

There's a Wi-Fi multiplayer mode as well as possible downloadable levels. I'm most excited about the opportunity to see what shaking the Wii-mote does (something, just not sure!). Tetris will launch on Wii Ware worldwide this summer.

That's right. The newest edition of the classic franchise will come packaged with an "intuitive" controller adapter known as the Wii Wheel. The game itself will give you the opportunity to race online against 11 drivers on 32 different courses. I'm game.

There's a cool new feature that has never been in the earlier version of Super Smash Bros. It will let you carry your imagination into something real. Well, almost real. It's a great way to get rid of those annoyance obstacles that have always bothered you.

However, you can't just do anything in the stage builder. You can't just browse everyone's levels. Your friends will have to send you theirs. However, IGN has created somethign that will let you share levels much easier. Check out IGN if you want to get your level sharing on. If you don't have Brawl, I highly recommend you get it ASAP!

Did you know that Carnival Games sold over a million copies worldwide. This may not sound that incredible until you realize that Carnival was supposed to be an extremely low budget game with simple games that really utilize the Wii remote. Due to the success, the company 2K is making a second version and this time it will only be about Mini Golf.

Everybody's favorite past time or at least one of time has to be mini golf. This time Carnival Games will make it a full blown game of Mini Golf. You only get one game, but you'll get to play many courses and with 4 players of course. Who needs to the leave anymore?

Well the "controllers" or "axes" for Nintendo Wii's Guitar Hero III are of the utmost importance to your level of playing ability.  It is pretty crazy how big this game is.  It is the game.

Now they are releasing the Les Paul version of the "controller" and I think it will take  any player from a Scott Stapp level to a Jimmy Page like that.  I personally can't wait until the Dimbag comes out and I can start wailing like the big boys.

I am really excited for the new Wii skiing game.  It will use the Balance Board which is another exciting piece of equipment.  I just think skiing is the best sport you can do will wiiing.

I hope you can snowboard too.  I think this release was purposely put out with the board because it is the perfect match.  We will see i guess how it all turns out.
